On February 10th, 2014 annual meeting of LPHT was held in Longhua International Hotel. More than 200 people, including company executives, management personnel of branch companies, excellent teams and individual representatives and all the members of the headquarters attended the meeting, which was chaired by CEO Mr. Peng Guangjian.
Mr. Liao Cuimeng , president of the company firstly made the annual report to the General Assembly on behalf of the management team. In the report, Liao made a comprehensive summary of the work in 2014, conducting an analysis of the current situation, on the basis of which he proposed work plans and objectives in 2015. Vice Chairman Mr. Yuan Dingjiang, announced “February 3rd Consensus” reached by management team on February 3rd this year. CEO Mr. Peng Guangjian, announced the "Decision of Awarding 2014 Excellent Teams and Individuals”. Company leaders awarded for the excellent teams and individuals, which created the climax.
The meeting was concluded by Chairman Mr. Wu Yueshi, who delivered an important speech. He pointed out that in 2014, the combination of the two great brands, CITIC and LPHT, meant a lot for LPHT and Chinese seed industry. In 2015, we will work hard to be a world-class excellent seed enterprise on the basis of a new start; we will make strategic research, accelerating information and cultural construction; we will unify values, striving to be excellent, healthy and noble. All the individuals will make up a team, who work hard and learn mutually. We will strive to be a world-class company with advanced economic indicators and respected ethics.
In order to raise awareness and accelerate company information construction, before the meeting the company also invited agricultural information specialist Mr. Gong Juntao from CITIC Group to deliver a speech named "Long Ping High-Tech Information Technology Strategic Thinking and Policy" lecture entitled, which worked well.
