On March 12, the “Longping Agricultural Cooperative Drying Project Partnering Conference and the Tagging Ceremony of ‘Longping University Training Base’” were grandly held in Anhui Longping’s Xinqiao Industrial Park (Shou County). The event was attended by leaders and guests including Wang Xuewu (Director of Technological Education Office of Hefei Agriculture Committee), Li Ping (Deputy Director of Shou County Agriculture Committee), Zhang Xiukuan (Executive President of LPHT), Zhou Dan (Vice President of LPHT), Gong Juntao (CIO of LPHT), Xue Qin (GM of FLSUGARPEPTIDE) and Zhu Limeng (GM of Longping Agricultural Cooperative), as well as near 200 partners of LPHT and famers all over the country.

Li Ping (Deputy Director of Shou County Agriculture Committee) and Wang Xuewu (Director of Technological Education Office of Hefei Agriculture Committee) made a speech successively, and extended congratulations on the tagging on behalf of the Shou County Agriculture Committee and the Technological Education Office of Hefei Agriculture Committee, respectively. They encouraged the training bases of Longping University to become bigger and stronger and act as the bridgehead and bellwether for new-type professional peasant training.
Zhou Dan (Vice President of LPHT, Executive Vice President of Longping University) introduced the progress of the building of Longping University and its training bases. Longping University is dedicated to developing and promoting the agricultural production standardization system, and boosting industrial transformation, industrial upgrade and efficacy improvement. Under the guidance and assistance of Longping University, the 10 agricultural comprehensive service centers of Longping Agricultural Cooperative tagged this time have been approved of being included in the Ministry of Agriculture’s new-type professional peasant training base library. The university plans to build these centers as sample bases of standardization, and assist Longping Agricultural Cooperative in streamlining standardization flows and building standardization systems for these centers in terms of plantation, drying, storage, management and training service, thereby laying a foundation for future large-scale duplication and promotion as well as all-round improvement in partners’ comprehensive service capability and competitiveness.

Next, in the tagging, 10 agricultural comprehensive service centers of Longping Agricultural Cooperative that meet the criteria for “Longping University Training Base” were titled “Longping University Training Base”.
Gong Juntao (CIO of LPHT, Vice President of Longping University) introduced the tremendous strength of LPHT and CITIC to the representatives attending the ceremony, and analyzed and clearly stated the development direction of “Internet + agriculture” on the topic of “seize new opportunities for co-growth” from the prospective of crop planting. In particular, he made a wonderful speech on how to develop in line with the trend, and find true partners and cooperation platforms.
Zhu Limeng (GM of Longping Agricultural Cooperative) systemically analyzed the problems faced by farmers in airing and storage. “Longping Agricultural Cooperative Drying Project” was set up in order to reduce farmers’ burdens in airing and storage, improve the grain quality and efficiency of crop planting, promote the agricultural supply-side structural reform and make connections to the “last mile” of the industry chain. With the project involved as point of penetration, the Company will provide comprehensive agricultural service solutions.
In the end of the event, Zhang Xiukuan (Executive President of LPHT) made an important speech. He clearly stated the development direction of agriculture, and called for the partners to face up to the existing problems in agricultural production, pragmatically free their mind, seek innovations, seize the opportunity of secondary business startup in agriculture, creatively promote agricultural transformation and upgrade, and increase the peasants’ yield and income.
